5 Gothic Tattoos That Occult Lovers Will Die For

Tattoos / Tattoo Designs / 5 Gothic Tattoos That Occult Lovers Will Die For

There are so many different kinds of tattoos out there that at times it can be hard trying to pick just one. From flowers to animals, to quotes, or even comic book characters, the possibilities are endless! But what we want to focus on today is more of a gothic style of tattoo, or “witchy,” if you will. There’s a large amount of occult lovers out there, & in honor of the anniversary of the Salem Witch Trials, we thought we’d focus our theme on that today. So, without further ado, let’s get our hex on & get spooky!

1 ) A Broomstick

One of the most popular amongst witchy lovers is a broomstick tattoo. Whether that be accompanied by a witch or by itself, these tattoos are stunning & can send the message of a powerful man or woman and the magic we all hold. An idea we’re living for is a boomstick wrapped in vines, or even placed over a cauldron. There are tons of ways you can get creative with this, but overall, these are perfect for any occult fanatic. If you’re more into the witchy-themed tattoos, we strongly suggest you check out our other post all about Wiccan Tattoo Ideas for plenty of magic & witchery!

2 ) Pentagram

For obvious reasons, this is the most popular amongst witches & occult lovers. Because of the deep mythical power associated with a pentagram & it’s connection to nature, is it any surprise that a gothic lover would adore this? Dressing this as art on your body is very powerful & can often help you channel that witchy side of yourself even more than before. Not to mention, this type of tattoo looks bad AF, & can help you find your coven. When in doubt, witch out!

3 ) Tarot Cards

An image that is becoming popular amongst millennial witches is tarot card tattoos. Because of the power each card represents individually, this gives you a large variety in the message you can create. For example, if you wish to have a tarot-themed tattoo related to rebirth & renewal, perhaps the “Death Card” might interest you. Or if you’re looking for a more light-hearted, lovey-dovey tattoo, maybe “The Lovers” is for you, and so forth. This gives you a wide variety in choosing, & could be inspiration for a bigger tattoo later. Whatever you choose, this idea is powerful & we fully support it.

4 ) Skulls

Skulls of any or all kinds are welcome! But a big theme that a lot of spiritual people are drawn to is animal skulls. Whether it’s an elaborate art piece or by itself, it can be very powerful to wear on your body. Many people are not only drawn to it because of it’s natural gothic beauty but also because of the powerful symbolism of life and death. In whatever way you choose to wear it, skulls are a beautiful addition to add to your ink collection.

5 ) Moon

And lastly, every tattoo/witchy lover needs a good ole’ moon tattoo. Because of the spiritual power & the witches’ connection to the moon, these types of tattoos can feel incredibly empowering, & not to mention, gorgeous! A few famous examples are moon phases, a moon-themed dream catcher, or the Triple Moon Goddess symbol (more of these mythical & mysterious moon-themed tattoo ideas can also be found on zarias.com ). Whatever you choose, a moon tattoo is breathtaking, & let’s be honest; it’s probably going to be your favorite tattoo you get!

Overall, there are many different types of occult tattoos out there, but these five are our favorites! If you’re curious about other gothic tattoos, we strongly suggest checking out this website for more gothic tattoos ideas & the powerful meanings behind them!
